Chiropractor / Owner
Dr. Michaud is originally from Saskatchewan. He completed his Doctor of Chiropractic in Toronto at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with an award in Clinical Radiology. He is certified in medical acupuncture through the Macmaster University Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program and is currently completing his residency in orthopedics with the Canadian Chiropractic Orthopedics Specialty (Canada).
Dr. Michaud is knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, dedicated and places his patients’ best interest at the forefront. He effectively diagnoses conditions/ailments affecting all areas of the body from knees and feet to the jaw and neck. With a particular interest in relieving headaches. His calculated approach to each patient’s condition is carefully constructed since we all have different needs and goals for recovery. The initial exam consists of a history, physical exam and a report of findings. Dr. Michaud’s initial assessment provides enough information to properly develop a unique treatment plan comprised of manual therapy, education and rehabilitative exercises for individuals to return to normal activities of daily living.
Dr. Michaud employs a diversified style of treatment and believes that an evidence-based approach to care is the best way to get people back on their feet and back in the game doing the things they love. He believes that it is imperative to collaborate together, along with family doctors and the entire health care team, to create a treatment plan that is realistic/achievable/attainable and produces results in the fastest and safest manner.

Chiropractor
Dr. Steven Pederson was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He attended the University of Regina where he received his Bachelor of Kinesiology. Following this, he obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto.
While growing up he participated in many sports including soccer, track, cross country, basketball and volleyball. With this background, Dr. Pederson became very experienced with athletes and sports-related injuries. During his time at CMCC, he had the opportunity to treat a variety of patients from all walks of life.
Dr. Pederson believes in an evidence-based approach in his practice by combining research with the values and beliefs of his patients to create an individualized treatment plan for them. He is a certified acupuncture provider through the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program, full body Active Release Techniques provider as well as a Canadian Red Cross First Responder.
He is committed to all his patient’s wellbeing while helping them achieve their physical goals through education and a variety of diversified manual techniques. These can include soft tissue therapies, acupuncture, adjustments and rehabilitation. When he is not in the clinic Dr. Pederson enjoys staying active through hiking, running, golfing and other recreational sports. He also enjoys playing the drums and catching the latest Calgary Flames game. He looks forward to treating the people of Olds and the surrounding areas.

Rachel is a graduate of the 2200 hour Program from Calgary Vicars School of Massage Therapy. Rachel specializes in therapeutic deep tissue massage and has a special interest in working with people with chronic pain, neck pain, and hip dysfunctions, including lower back pain, knee pain, sciatica, and scoliosis. She is also very experienced working with pregnancy, TMJ dysfunctions, and plantar fasciitis. Rachel uses a combination of pressures and techniques catered to your needs during the treatment, which can include relaxation therapy.
Before becoming a Registered Massage Therapist, Rachel trained as a high-level speed skater at the Calgary Olympic Oval. Speed skating gave her firsthand experience of living with pain. She understands how it feels to push through pain on a day to day basis, which is why she strives each day to help her clients.
Rachel was raised in Nipawin, Saskatchewan and has worked in Calgary as a full time Massage Therapist for the past 6 years. She is settling into married life and looking forward to making Olds her permanent home. Rachel loves to spend quality time with her family and enjoys being involved in her local church community. In her spare time, she loves photography, biking, hiking, camping, driving combines, gardening, and baking.
